Kanica Maheshwari turns veggie…
The vivaciously gorgeous gal of the tinsel town Kanica Maheshwari is currently enacting the role of Roopkumari Bhoomi in the show, ‘Raja Ki Aayegi Barat’ on Star Plus. The ravishing lass has turned vegetarian now.
Reason? This is what happened that she saw chicken being sloshed cruelly in front of her eyes. As a result, she felt very bad and then decided to turn veggie. Her view is that one should not kill the animals or birds for eating if one cannot save them. She is also of the view that “if you cannot give life, you have no right to take life.”
Turning veggie helps her weight to be in control, as she is a figure conscious actress. She brought up in Delhi and has earned the education in the field of advertising and PR. She is a graduate in sociology and a distinction holder.
Her debut vehicle was the show titled ‘Kabhi Aaye Na Judai’. And she has delivered acting histrionics on the shows like ‘Lipstick (on zee)’, Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki (played Neil-Sassha’s sister), ‘Yehi To Hai Woh (played Shahana), ‘India Calling’, ‘Piya Ka Ghar’, ‘Virasaat’, ‘Sindoor Tere Naam Ka’, ‘Doli Saja Ke’, ‘FIR’, ‘Yes Boss’, ‘Jamegi Jodi Dotcom’. She has also done cameos in the shows like ‘Anu ki Ho gayi Wah bhai wah’ and ‘Saath Saath’.
On Rajkumari’s show, the clothes she is wearing are very expensive and most of them have come from popular designer Neeta Lulla’s boutique. She wore Aishwarya Rai’s outfits too, which she used in ‘Jodha Akbar’, as they were altered to her size. Her character of Rajukumari sports her puffing cigarettes and drinking wine. She wears a wig on this program and when she comes out of the house, people do not recognize her because they see her in wig on the screen.
She loves doing negative roles but has done many positive characters in the past also.
