The fight between Adnan Sami and his wife has been writing bigger news for last many days. It came to public when the better half approached to the police and complained about husband that he thrashed her. But when the police asked her to show any sign of wound, she could not do. The matter became clearer when finally Adnan opened the mouth and revealed the facts before the media saying it all happened due to her wife’s not liking his ill father and son Azaan’s (from Ex-wife Zeba Bakhtiyar – popular Pakistani actress-director-producer cum Ex-Bollywood actress) arrival at his home in Mumbai. Adnan said to the media that she should understand that he is my father and I have to take care of my old father and Azaan is my son, who she should accept, as I have accepted her son (from her Ex-husband). Now within few days of quarrel, the matter has reached to the last limits. Saba has filed for divorce.
Today, she reached the high court and filed for divorce. The two had re-married only last year.
Confirming the latest development between the two, Adnan said on Sunday night, “Sabah’s lawyers sent me the papers very late on Saturday night. Since then I’ve been consulting with my lawyers. Yes, she has asked for a divorce and also the house, which we now share in separate wings. She has accused me in her divorce papers, among other things, of playing my music too loud. Quite frankly, I can only say, all the best to Sabah. No matter what happens I will always wish her the best in life.” What Adnan resents is the time his wife chose to bring out all her grievances against him. “Her timing sucks. My father is very seriously ill”, says Adnan Sami “In fact, last night he slipped and fell in the bathroom. Nice timing, no? Just when my life and marriage have also slipped out of my hands”, adds Adnan Adnan Sami claims that his wife has asked for his parents to be dispossessed from the disputed house. He is utterly determined to fight it out to his last breath. He further expresses, “This house belongs to me, my parents and my son. I’m willing to give up the marriage. But I’ll be damned if I give up our home. I’m a lawyer and I’ve hired the best available legal talent to fight my case. Fortunately this country has the best legal minds in the world. And I’ve full faith in the Indian judicial system.”
