B.A.G films all set for their first hindi commercial release on October 6,2006
Zindaggi Rocks’ , the film debut by Producer Anurradha Prasad of the well established and renowned BAG FILMS, is all geared up for October 6 release, that too in the true blue rocking style! The film is directed by Tanuja Chandra and stars Sushmita Sen, Shiney Ahuja, Maushimi Chatterjee, Kim Sharma and child actor Julian. The film has amazing musical numbers composed by evergreen Anu Malik while the playback singers are Sunidhi Chuhan , Zubeen Garg,Tulsikumar, Javed Ali and Anoushka Manchanda .
Present at the press conference were Anurradha Prasad,Sushmita Sen, Anu Malik and Maushimi Chatterjee, all of whom spoke at lengths about their individual experiences while making the film. Sushmita appreciated the efforts of all her team and units and said enthusiastically how she was happy to be part of Anuradha Prasad’s first release. Maushimi Chatterjee too thanked BAG FILMS for the opportunity and said it was a memorable experience with Zindaggi Rocks.
Anu Malik spoke about the conception of the film’s mellifluous music, and how he felt the music was a niche apart from the other films he has done so far. The films music is a combination of peppy and romantic numbers, with the songs enhancing the storyline of the film.
In a joint statement issued to the press Anurradha Prasad producer and Managing Director of B.A.G Films Ltd and Tanuja Chandra the talented director said that “Life…it always surprises you…with its startling beauty, its thundering emotions, its sweeping tales of love and glory….and its never-ending desire to surge ahead no matter what the struggles, the difficulties or the sorrows. Which is why we decided that Life is great…it rocks! The human heart is capable of the deepest affection and the most passionate love. It has within it, huge reservoirs of warmth, that never run dry. Human beings….they have an endless capacity to show compassion and grace. Which is why we decided to make a film depicting this. ZINDAGGI ROCKS is our tribute to the goodness that resides inside the human heart, which chooses to surface when life is at its lowest; when perhaps it looks as if there’s no hope left. In this darkness, is when the soul flies, its wings spread wide, as it goes out to embrace life. In our emotional story of a bunch of simple yet extraordinary people, we salute the courage in people who choose to greet life with open arms and live each day as if it was their last.
