Lara Dutta is Gaoon Ki Ladki…
 Earlier we have seen her in Desi Style (Gaoon Ki Ladki) in the beginning of her career in the movies, ‘Kesar’ and ‘Mumbai Se Aaya Mera Dost’. And she received bad response from all sections of the film world, critics and the viewers. Above all, the flicks flopped. She had to say good-bye to this portrayal. But now she is ready again for this type of role in Shah Rukh Khan’s production, ‘Billu Barber’.
On this she says, “This time it’s only because of Shah Rukh Khan.”
The promotion of the film does not feature Lara Dutta and instead Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra have been given focus in the promos and promotion. Is this due to her non-glam role? To clear the dust, she utters, “The promotion has started with the music. My turn will come.”
When asked further on this film, her non-glam role and keeping her away on the promos, she did not express more and instead started speaking about Shah Rukh Khan and Akshay Kumar, saying, “I like Shah Rukh for his wit, intelligence, grit and determination, and Akshay for the way he interacts with people. Coming from non-filmi backgrounds, they’ve gained so much knowledge over time.”
Well, Lara…it’s undoubtedly a good way to take off people’s eyes on important matter.
