Movie Review: Chal Chala Chal

 The banner K Sera Sera oozes out with the comedy, ʽChal Chala Chalʼ starring Govinda, Rajpal Yadev, Murli Sharma and Reema Sen to enact the lead roles. Presented as a comedy, CCC turns to be a big tragedy for the viewer, who spent both his precious things on the film – money and time. Draped with the flat direction, weak script and mundane editing; the film looks horrible altogeher.
Deepakʼs (Govinda) ex-school principal father (Om Puri) wins a long running court case against his school and as a result he gets a school bus as compensation. His father does not want to sell it off and wants his son Deepak to run it and earn the money from it. Deepak decides to puruse his fatherʼs advice. But there is a problem he is facing and that is the opposition from his two sisters (Upasana Singh and Amita Nangia) and their respective Ghar-Jamai husbands (Asrani and Manoj Joshi), who are of the view that this is a low profile job to do. In actual, they want to sell it off to have some share out of the money. Also their primary interset is to sell off the house as well. But Deepak values his fatherʼs judgment and with some financial help coming up from his good friend Sundar (Rajpal Yadav) he establishes a company and names it Chal Chala Chal transport. As soon as the noble-hearted Deepak begins his work, everyone who bumps into him likes to extarct money from him. The rest is the roller coaster ride, which forms the climax of the movie.
ʽChal Chala Chalʼ is an outdated concept, on which the movie has been made. Decades ago, these kinds of subjects used to work on the celluloid and with the moviegoers. Today, a viewer wants sophitication in theme, which this film lacks in plenty. There are a few sequences, which entertain you otherwise this comedy does not have anything to send smiles on your face. The story keeps moving round and round and the jokes and gags start falling flat.
No story and even no script can be found in this disastrous project. Editing of the film is much worst. The editor seems to be sleepy while doing the job. The direction, cinematography and even every department looks weak.
Govinda is not in his usual form and the growing age has now started to appear on his face. Rajapl Yadav is the only actor who shows some sparks in acting. Reema Sen is average. The rest of the cast is unimpressive.
On the whole , ʽChal Chala Chalʼis a dreadful movie, which should be eschwed instantly.
