Rani identifies with the character and she could relate to the script, she says “I could relate to that character well as I knew exactly where it was coming from.”
Rani is extremely happy with the melodious music of Tara Rum Pum and she says “every song is unique in its own way and Javed Akhtar has written fantastic lyrics that truly tell you about the character.”
Rani says “The kind of culture, traditions and values we all have towards our parents, they are passed down generations. That is the spirit of the film, which is where I come from. And I am certain that it will strike the right chord with its audiences.”
