Sushmita Sen roped in to play Benazir Bhutto…
Benazir Bhutto was the former Prime Minster of Pakistan and the leader of Pakistan Peoples Party. She was amongst few politicians of the world who was regarded and respected very high across the globe. Bhutto was assassinated on December 27, 2007 in Rawalpindi in Pakistan. Now a film has been designed to make on her life. To enact this role, the former beauty queen, the sexy siren Sushmita Sen has been roped in to do the honours.
When asked Sushmita about playing this big role, she excitedly told, “Yes, I am keen to play the role. The producers are waiting for a clearance from the Pakistan Peoples Party (Bhutto’s party). Once we get the go-ahead, we will start the movie.”
Sushmita seems to be working very hard on this character by reading extensively on the life of this magnificent leader. She is also watching the footage on her. Sushmita is also getting the command of the trademark style of Benazir’s Urdu diction.
Co-produced by Pakistani producers Zaid Aziz and Henna Rai of Karachi production firm Vox Vision and Leicester-based Sum Films respectively, the film will be bilingual – made both in English and Urdu.
Tentatively titled "Benazir Bhutto: The Movie", the flick will be shot at various locations in Pakistan, the US, Britain and Dubai, where Bhutto had spent years as a student and later as a political leader in exile.
Mahesh Bhatt’s Vishesh Films is also trying to churn out a biopic on Benazir Bhutto.
Let’s wait and watch to see Sushmita Sen enacting Benazir Bhutto.
