“I find easy in front of the camera”

Ever since she did the item song ‘Khullam khulla pyar karen’ in Road, Koena Mitra hasn’t looked back. While she’s gained an image of being a sassily sexy actress, Mitra isn’t too worried. “As long as people remember me as a good actor, I don’t mind any image that tags along,” she laughs.

Do you think you are a good actress?
That’s for people to judge. I have hardy done three films and have hardly spent two years in the field, so it is difficult for me to say how good I am. All I would say is that my body language is good. I am very easy in front of the camera.
If Aamir Khan, Salman Khan or Shah Rukh Khan ask you out on a date, whom would you choose as your partner?
I admire all these Khans, but unfortunately, my guy will not be from the film industry. Anyway, I am single – and am happy that way (laughs). So, no dates for me.
What about Tom Cruise?
Oh, I don’t think I will refuse him (laughs).
Do you want to change something about yourself?
I don’t think I would, because you see, I am a complete package (laughs).
You believe in God?
Of course, I do. I am spiritual in my own way. I truly and sincerely believe in the supreme being.
Your most embarrassing moment to date?
Yeah, that happened last year. I was performing at a show. When I went to the changing room, I realized there was no dress for me. I was shocked. I didn’t perform after that, but I felt very embarrassed.
Do you believe sex sells?
No I don’t – I feel a good film works. If you are offering a good package, the audience will grab it.
