Mehul’s favourite actor Nana Patekar will play the role of the Maratha warrior in the film Chhatrapati Shivaji. It is believed to be a dream role for Nana who had wanted a Hindi movie to be made on Chhatrapati Shivaji for a long time.
Before shooting the film, Nana will do intense research on the life of the Maratha warrior. He will also train extensively in horse riding and sword fighting.
In the past, Nana and Mehul Kumar have worked together in hard-hitting films like ‘Krantiveer’, ‘Tiranga’ and ‘Kohram’.
