Kareena Kapoor has given her consent to director Onir to play the female lead in his next venture titled Chasme Baddoor, a remake of yesteryear’s classic by Paranjpye.
Onir reportedly wants Kareena Kapoor to play the soap salesgirl in the film. He thinks Kareena has an excellent sense of comic timing. Onir says although his film’s subject would be same in the spirit to Paranjpye’s movie, certain changes will be made to make the story more contemporary.
Also, the movie will not star Onir’s favourite actor Sanjay Suri.
