Comedy films are the order of the day and that’s where Director Tharun Kumar is aiming at. With a ignorable star cast Raffoo Chakkar needs to have something extra that would pull people out of their homes and into the theatres.
The film revolves around people who believe in living life to the fullest and enjoying every moment of it. Pappu (Aslam Khan) and Munnu (Yudhishtir), known as PM are very rich brothers. Millie (Nauheed Cyrusi) and Julie (Nisha Rawal), known as MJ are sisters from the upper crust of society. But as the title of the movie suggests, a series of events take place and they are forced to tie the knot.
They all leave their homes, rather run away and get to meet each other on the way. Soon, romance begins and Pappu and Munnu get attracted to the Millie and Julie. But the twist in the tale is that these are the same girls with whom their parents had fixed the marriage.
Now, the couple gets into another chakkar when they meet KK sisters, whose father wants them to get married. If KK do not get married before they turn 45 his property will go to the trust, managed by Dilkhush (Sadashiv Amrapurkar) and Hansmukh (Shakti Kapoor).
Further confusion pours in because MJ by now are in love with PM, not knowing their married status with KK sisters. What follows is a plan by PM brothers to murder KK. The trustees realize the marriage is fake which leads to a very hilarious unfolding of the entire story.
The movie sounds pretty illogical and till date the age old stories of property and conditions to get it are used for making films. The film will hit the theatres soon in 2007 and undoubtedly will not draw any crowds to the theatres because of its loose and stale storyline.

isn’t it stupid of the writer to pass judgment even without really knowing anything about the film rafoo chakkar fun on the run. it is still under production and so many films with the most stupid of storyline have done wonders because of the final product and best of storyline have been washed down and out of theaters in the 1st week itself. and what do u really know abt the story of this film, by the way. any grudges against the makers or the artistes??
totally agree with wat ruchy said….nobody can predict the success or failure of any movie….u never knw wat is lykd by the general public…its not the star cast that really matter…its the audience judgement wich matters alot and decide the fate of the movie just like “kaho na pyar hai” of hrithik, though his first movie but a super hit…so i’ll recommend the writer to wait and watch before his own judgement….
