According to director Sanjay Khanduri, Ek Chalis Ki Last Local is a comic thriller about two persons who miss the last local train at 1:40 am and have poore dhayi ghante to waste before the next local arrives.
The movie meanders into an intriguing drama with a set of stories intertwined with each other. There is an auto and taxi strike and therefore the two are stuck there. That’s how the two meet and the story starts.
The tale revolves around Nilesh, played by Abhay Deol, a call center executive and Neha Dhupia who plays Madhu, a girl from Bandra. There is an auto and taxi strike and therefore the two are stuck there.
