The 10th ZEE Cine Awards are expected to be bigger and better than the ones before and its gaining much momentum as each day passes by.
The event this year takes place at Genting Highlands in Malaysia on Sunday 1st April. The first name confirmed to set the stage on fire is Bollywood heart throb Salman Khan who is rumoured to be opening up the prestigious ceremony organised by ZEE Network.
Other stars slated to perform for the night include Preity Zinta and Priyanka Chopra, and engaged couple Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai.
Vinod Khanna, the 60-year-old Indian actor, film producer and politician has been named the recipient of the 10th ZEE Cine’s Lifetime Achievement Award.
Known for his dusky features, Vinod starred in many hit films throughout the ‘70s and ‘80s which included ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’ (1977), ‘Muqaddar Ka Sikander ‘(1978) and ‘Qurbani’ (1980). Vinod was also conferred the FilmFare Lifetime Achievement Award in 2000.
The stars are expected to fly in to Kuala Lumpur from 30th March.
The event will be hosted by eminent Bollywood director Karan Johar.
ZEE Cine Awards will be shown live on Sunday 1st April on ZEE TV, ZEE Cinema and ZEE Muzic in India and delayed live solely on ZEE TV in the UK at 19:30.
