Ayesha Takia, who was earlier signed for the Gajini starring Aamir Khan, is no longer a part of it. There are reports that Aamir Khan was not very keen to cast Ayesha in the film.
He has now replaced Ayesha with Asin in the film. Asin was also a part of the original Ghajini in Tamil.
Ayesha’s father Nishith Takia says, “Yes it is true that Ayesha is no longer a part of Aamir’s film. They had initially called us and finalised Aayesha’s role. But, I have no clue why she is no longer a part of the film.”
