 Skin show is very much there in Bollywood on current scenario. The actresses do not shy to exhibit their assets now. Years back, it was not considered good in Hindi cinema. Only the vamps used to show their body in films. For last some years, the skin-show has taken front seat on the celluloid. Even on the small screen, it’s very much there as well. Today, heroines or the glam dolls are proud of showing their bodies. If this trend keeps on growing, then the day is very near when you will be seeing the actresses fully naked in the whole picture. And they will be proud of their acts. It will become a fashion to show the whole naked body.
Now coming back to the point, there was no hubbub when sexy siren Bipasha Basu showed her body in ‘Race’ or when the sultry Priyanka Chopra slipped herself in bikini. And when the gorgeous actress Minissha Lamba exhibits herself in white bikini in the movie, ‘Kidnap’, there emerged a hullabaloo in the media.
On this issue, the actress says, “I wouldn’t call it skin show. For me, it means women exercising their right to be beautiful. We have fashion designers all over the world and now in India, who are catering to women mainly to make them look beautiful and feel beautiful. And now, clothes are a very important extension to that”.
