Khanna & Iyer is in the news because of its star cast, that has the names like Sarvar Ahuja and Aditi Sharma, winners of Zee Cine Stars Ki Khoj. The movie is made under the banner of Mukta Arts (Subhash Ghai) and is a low budget entertainer for the whole family. Music of the film is composed by Tabun Sutradhar, who has previously worked with the same banner in Jogger’s Park. ‘Meri Zindari’ is a successful attempt by Tabun in merging the traditional folk music with snazzy and titillating euphoric feel. Madhushree’s voice adds a ripe and sweet tone to the track which also features Sukhwindra Singh, lending his energy punch pompously. The number proves to be worthiest asset for the album and requires good choreography to come out as a chartbuster. The remix version is well crafted and the mood swings from happening to something more than happening.

Rootho Na is another number in this conventional soundtrack that proves emblematic to the spirit and theme of this confronting love saga. The music arrangements are soft and traditional with a South Indian feel to it. Kunal Ganjawala and Shreya Ghoshal team up to deliver a mushy love track which has a feel good factor.
Rootho Na-2 (Singer: Jojo, Suzanne)

The track is theme based on betrayal in love and trust. Jojo and Suzanne lend their voices for this one. Suzanne’s voice stands apart in this trak as she adds a sensuous feel to it whereas Jojo sounds quite average in this one.
Boom Boom (Singer: Sudesh Bhonsle, Kunal Ganjawala)

Loud and raucous Kunal Ganjawala teams up with the classy Sudesh Bhonsle to deliver this energy packed family number. Tabun tries out the traditional rhythm of Calypso with the hip-hop beats. ‘Boom Boom’ is a fun filled energetic track and gives a party feel. Sunil Jha tries to bring in humour by adding hilarious dialogues like ‘Dil Garden Garden Ho Gaya’ in the lyrics.
Raasta Pyar Ka (Singer: Kunal Ganjawala, Shreya Ghoshal)
Rating: 4/10
Philosophically lyrical, the emotional “Raasta Pyar Ka” has been punched by Kunal Ganjawala’s voice. The song emoted out emotes out Rajesh Johri’s spirited lyrics with a sporting marching troop musical back drop. Shreya Ghoshal’s brief and shimmering vocals supports in tandem in this dramatically situational packed soundtrack. The remix version of this track is put off.

Composer Tabun’s flair for effective musical instrumentation in this brief presentation shows his finesse in music. The piano notes turn out to be the soul of the soundtrack. This one will be part of the background score for the movie.
