So, why do we compare? Cricket… it’s the timeliness which matters. If it’s a recent encounter then we all are interested no matter which movie is releasing and where. If India is playing the arch-rivals forget about your SRK or Salman for the next 7 odd hours, as its only going to be cricket that glues the nation to its TV sets. But, what if the match is an old encounter, won’t you skip it? Will you not be fantasized watching SRK or Salman or Preity or Ash for that matter? How does it matter whether your cricketing hero is a stud or not, you will still like him?
The point is if Cricket talks of nationalism and the national spirit for either playing for your mother land or cheering for it. Then, Bollywood can be a stress buster and entertainer any given day of the year. To choose between the two, it really depends as to when you are asking to make a choice. Forget it, I’m not watching my favorite star’s movie if India is playing. And yes… I would prefer Hrithik over Rahul Dravid any time!
