Amitabh Bachchan’s fans…moor your belts now, as to make you rich in information about this legendary star, ‘Bachchanalia’ is all set to hit the stands. ‘Bachchanalia’ is about the films and the memorabilia of Amitabh Bachchan. It has been penned by the senior journalist of entertainment Bhawana Somaaya and co-authored by the Osians Centre for Archiving, Research and Development (CARD). It will be launched in Mumbai on 3^rd Januray.

The chief guest of the occasion will be Aamir Khan, who will be felicitating Mr. Bachchan there at Tata Theatre, NCPA. The book showcases the unique documentation of the megastar’s filmography illustrated through rare and exclusive film posters and publicity material from the Osian’s Archives and Library collection. Bhawana utters that the book depicts a complete cinematic journey through the mesmeric publicity material stretching 40 years, from the days of hand painted posters to present day digitally doctored photographic montages.
