Zee TV announces the second round of auditions for it’s prestigious Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2007 in Mumbai on Monday, 19th March 2007 with Vishal – Shekhar as the judges. The participants have to be between 16 to 26 years and carry a passport sized photograph. Watch how luck works for you at the live auditions of the super-hit show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2007, by landing up with your passport size photograph at Andheri Sports Complex, J.P. Road, Andheri [w], Mumbai between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm!
After it’s overwhelming success last year, the show is back with a bang, to scout for good well-trained voices, fresh talent and young energetic performers from Mumbai, who will give a boost to the Indian music industry. Contestants will get an opportunity to perform in presence of music directors, Vishal – Shekhar, who will take his pick on the finalists from the West Zone.
Challenge series have created history as one of the longest running musical competitions on television, the 2nd season of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge, being promoted this year as ‘Sangeet Ka Pratham Vishvayudh,’ will take off in Mumbai and will be followed by live auditions in Delhi and Kolkata.
This year, with mentors structuring their Gharana’s zone wise, an added uniqueness to the show will be participation from contestants in Dubai, New York, London, South Africa and four cities in Pakistan. Local judges of the contest will screen candidates on the basis of their knowledge of sur-tal-laiy, a great voice and a confident stage performance. This year we have Vishal-Shekhar and Bappi Da along with Last year’s mentor – Himesh Reshamiya and Ismail Darbar.
With around thousands of people turning up in Mumbai for the auditions last year, a majority of which were women, expectations are high from the city.

I really want to audition for the next season of sa re ga ma pa. I live in Bangkok,Thailand and I’m 17 years old now. ZEE tv came to Thailand for the “Full Circle” program where they captured videos portraying the Indian culture abroad where I danced a punjabi bangra song with my friends in a show and we were called to do it again for the video taping. I could go to India for the singing auditions but I don’t know if they will accept an Indian from Thailand. But I do have a family in punjab Ludhiana, Jalandar, and Delhi. I love singing, it’s my life!
I participate in all the school singing talent shows and in God’s grace I’ve always been coming first. I want to go further in my love for music and i believe saregamapa could get me somewhere.
Oh and i’m learning classical indian music, the raags, the surs, sargams and everything. My exam results come from Chandigarh but I take the exams here in Bangkok with a qualified judge and i’m very satisfied with the outcomes. I find these raags and taals very interesting, it amazes me.:)

I really want to audition but I live in the U.S.A. so I cant really go there. I might miss school.But I watch the show and I always imagine being there in tv. And I do have a good voice. My sister gave me a 8 as a score when I sang a song. But she is just a kid. My dad insists me to audition. But anyway the chances are one in a million.

I really want to audition for the next season of sa re ga ma pa. I live in Bangkok,Thailand and I’m 17 years old now. ZEE tv came to Thailand for the “Full Circle” program where they captured videos portraying the Indian culture abroad where I danced a punjabi bangra song with my friends in a show and we were called to do it again for the video taping. I could go to India for the singing auditions but I don’t know if they will accept an Indian from Thailand. But I do have a family in punjab Ludhiana, Jalandar, and Delhi. I love singing, it’s my life!
I participate in all the school singing talent shows and in God’s grace I’ve always been coming first. I want to go further in my love for music and i believe saregamapa could get me somewhere.
Oh and i’m learning classical indian music, the raags, the surs, sargams and everything. My exam results come from Chandigarh but I take the exams here in Bangkok with a qualified judge and i’m very satisfied with the outcomes. I find these raags and taals very interesting, it amazes me.:)
I would really appreciate it if you would consider having one audition branch in Bangkok so I would have a chance.

I really want to audition but I live in the U.S.A. so I cant really go there. I might miss school.But I watch the show and I always imagine being there in tv. And I do have a good voice.
