The ban on Bollywood films in Pakistan and Bangladesh is not just ruining the market for films in those countries and leading to a loss to the producers, but the local industries are also getting wiped out quickly now.

Despite Indian films like Mughal E Azam as well as Taj Mahal being premiered in Pakistan, movies are still not been seen in theatres there leading to cinema halls being shut down.

Out of 1200 cinema halls in Bangladesh 500 have already shut down.In Pakistan Out of the 700 theatres that existed a few yeas ago only 200 theatres exist today.

For the arguement, a quick look at India also reveals that after the advent of the multiplexes 11,000 out of the earlier 12,000 single screen theatres exist now.
