Just Married was supposed to be a clean film which would entertain the Indian audiences. Though, it manages to create ripples but fails to create waves at the box office. Meghna Gulzar, daughter of Gulzar saab is back with her second product Just Married.
Just Married, marriage was only the beginning, looses its charm after the first 30 minutes. It lacks appeal and substance. The fact that two educated and urban people are so confused throughout the film is not acceptable.
The story is about two individuals caught in a marriage in a way they did not want to. The film deals with them coming to terms with their new status during their honeymoon and how they come out shining in the end.
Abhay and Ritika get married in circumstances where they do not meet even once before their marriage. Something that is only seen in rural areas! They have never walked together hand in hand and have never romanced each other. Now, this couple goes on a honeymoon to Ooty and gets acquainted with four more couples.
The movie has a feel of Honeymoon Travels Private Limited as there are four other couples playing a part (or something) in the movie. There are times when Fardeen steals your heart with his boyish grin and Esha with her innocent looks. The capers of the other characters too bring a smile on your lips now and then but the problem is it never really becomes a sigh of pleasure.
