Gul admits that she was pleasantly surprised when a birthday party was organised in her honour, while shooting for the film in Rajasthan.
According to Gul, “In the night, when I was just about retiring to bed, my director Navdeep called me down to the production office to become friendly with the 4-year-old child who plays my son in the film. So I put on lots of warm clothes over my nightdress and trudged down to the office. Imagine my shock when everyone suddenly shouted Surprise!”
Also, there were the most delicious traditional Rajasthani delicacies! Abhay, her co-star, Navdeep, Mr Maru from Shemaroo, EP Sanjay Bhattacharya and the DOP were all there.
