Bollywood Khans have a low-key Eid because of Mumbai attacks
Eid-Ul-Adha was celebrated early this week by many of the Muslim in the Bollywood fraternity, albeit in sombre mood.
Big stars such as Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan and Salman Khan decided not to hold any lavish parties and instead wore black arm-bands in protest against the recent terror attacks in Mumbai. Salman decided to spend the day working, shooting for his film Veer at Film City. “Salman and his family are known to celebrate festivals on a huge scale but they all refrained from doing so this year,” says a source.
Shah Rukh Khan could have used the occasion to promote his film Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi but too decided this was not the time or the place. Aamir gave a courtesy press conference from his home, while Saif Ali Khan is not in Mumbai.
