Kylie Minogue agrees to sing for Bollywood film Blue for $1m

Music maestro A R Rahman has approached Australian beauty Kylie Minogue to croon a song for his forthcoming soundtrack of Indian flick Blue. Kylie has agreed and will be going to India early in the New Year to record the song. The producers of the film, which stars Akshay Kumar and Sanjay Dutt, are reportedly paying Kylie $1m US dollars for the five minute number.
Now what is even more unbelievable is that Kylie was not the first or the second choice for the song. Rahman had initially requested R&B singer Rihanna and, when she refused, he called up Madonna’s agent.
It is not yet known if Kylie will feature in the video of the song or if the song is picturized on one of the film’s two leading ladies, Lara Dutta or Katrina Kaif.
