Eastern Eye announces sexiest Asian woman
Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif is the sexiest Asian woman in the world 2008, according to weekly newspaper Eastern Eye.
Eastern Eye, Britain’s Asian weekly, sent the judges a shortlist of 10 names. The judges then ranked the names according to their individual preferences and the newspaper then compiled the results to produce a final list.
The judges included BizAsia.co.uk’s very own Raj Baddhan, Brianna Ragel, editor of Asian Woman Magazine and the former editor of FHM India, Farhad Dadyburjor.
The one-time Londoner was ranked one place above last year’s winner Bipasha Basu and two ahead of 2006 winner Priyanka Chopra.
New entrants to the list included Pakistani actress Mehwish Hayat (nine), Miss India Universe Simran Kaur Mundi (10), former Miss Sri Lanka Jacqueline Fernandez (12) and south Indian actress Asin (22).
