Robby Grewal director of the National award-winning movie Samay- When the time strikes is now ready with his second venture Mera Pehla Pehla Pyar (MP3) under the banner of Percept Pictures.
Mera Pehla Pehla Pyar is a youthful romantic movie showing how it feels when you fall in love for the first time. It’s about falling in love for the first time (one’s first love) and the excitements and nightmares associated with it. Along with fresh script the movie brings two fresh and very talented faces Ruslan and Hazal on screen as a lead artists.
Samay was Robby’s first movie as a director under iDream Production in 2003 and he got lots of accolades for the movie as it was wrapped up well with suspense. It took six months for Robby to jot down the script of Samay. The best part about the movie is though the movie was shot in 45 days it keeps the audience intact and indulged all the time. Robby has sung title track for the movie Yahaan under Red Ice Production directed by Sujit Sarkar.
Robby creative, innovative and intelligent since childhood always wanted to be a part of creative world. He started his career as an Ad filmmaker and has also been a part of award winning campaigns like Abby Awards for Cadbury (2005), Silver at Abby’s for Add Gel and AAAI Gold for Dettol (2000).
Robby lives life in a very sensitive way as he observes each and everything in a very creative manner. Being an actor himself he loves to direct movies because he believes that “a good director is always the one who knows to act. The director has to explain the scene to his stars by stepping into their shoes, then and only then you will be able to make the actor understand what exactly you need.”
