Aamir Khan lays blame of Mumbai attacks on the political parties

Bollywood screen icon Aamir Khan has expressed his disappointment and laid the blame of last week’s Mumbai attacks on political parties.

Here is what Aamir wrote on his blog: “As I had expected, various politicians have tried to use this traumatic attack to their advantage. I only hope people see through them this time. Both the major political parties have failed to tackle terrorism. There have been repeated attacks on us during both their reigns that neither has been able to anticipate or deal with well. While what happened in Mumbai recently clearly exposes the incompetence of the Congress, the hijacking of the Indian Airlines flight 814 during the BJP rule shows them in an even worse light. They actually negotiated with and released dreaded terrorists from Indian jails. All the five hijackers and the three terrorists released from India by the government in power, then were allowed to escape to attack us another day. I think the first lesson to learn from this is that we MUST NOT NEGOTIATE. No matter what, the next time round around, and let’s not fool ourselves. We MUST NOT NEGOTIATE. All potential terrorists must get a very clear message that INDIA DOES NOT NEGOTIATE WITH TERRORISTS. What that means is, that in the future if there is a situation where me or my kids are held hostage by a bunch of terrorists then I must be prepared to tell our government – to hell with me and my children, just go in there and kill the terrorists. I am prepared to sacrifice myself and my loved ones for the larger safety and security of the country but DON’T LISTEN TO AND NEGOTIATE WITH TERRORISTS.

The other important thing we need to remind ourselves in this time of anger and hurt is to stay calm and take sensible steps, and not give in to thoughtless knee-jerk reactions. I heard someone say on television that we should all stop paying our taxes as a show of protest. Haven’t heard of a sillier idea. If we stop paying our taxes, we won’t have an army and NSG to save us next time around!!! Instead, we should all START PAYING OUR TAXES. We demand so much of our leaders but are we fulfilling our basic responsibility? Can we say with honesty that as citizens of our country we all honestly pay our taxes? If we don’t our taxes can we blame the government for being inefficient?

What I would really like to see emerge from all this is the youth of this country starting a political party. A group that we can all support. Faith.”

Do you agree with Aamir’s views… reply in the comments section below.

  1. Aamir needs to start a new POLITICAL PARTY rather than ask others to do it. Not only Aamir but millions of Indian esp the younger educated generation want a new political party, it a great idea to bring about a revolutionary change in Indian politics. The sorry part is actors like Amitabh and Aamir can take action rather than spew words and accuse other but no one wants to take the initiative to actually start an all India Party from scratch with brand new politicians and stick their necks out. If they did take on the challenge to revolutionize the system all of India would support them.

  5. Arjun Rampal is a man of very few but extremely effective words.
Arjun is not just a screen action hero, he is a prompt/practical action taker. I applaud his true concern for the safety of his counry by going on television to make a viable& quick suggestions to resolve this most important issue. His advise is the best way for safety. Amir is all ‘WORDS’ & NO RATIONALE OR POTENTIAL FOR RESOLVING THE PROBLEM. Firstly, Amir knows that as a Muslim, he & his children will never be targetted for terrorists kidnapping, as the true aim of these Terrorists is diabolism to destroy all they jealous & envy, including success & civilisation of anybody or Country, diabolism
implimented by conglomerate of Witchcraft Cults operating as religious groups-Ethnic minority spiritual Churches (formed by born muslim defects) & Mosques. The major Tsunami of 26/12/06or7 was not a biological weapon, but one of those diabolical attacks that claimed 1000s
of lives. The Taj attack is an inside conspiracy. Eliminate corrupt insiders.

  7. Amir is all words with no rationale or potential for viability. He knows that as a Member of that ‘Conglomerate Of Witchcraft Cult’ (Islam), he & his Kids would never be targeted for kidnapping by those terrorists. Yes, why did the Indian government indeed left the lives of Indians & mush cherished investors to India vulnerable to terrorists attacks? Indeed, Arjun Rampal is not just a Movie Screen Action Hero, but also a very prompt & practical action taker. I applaud his courage to appear on television rather than hiding inside blogs to give viable suggestions on ways to resolve the problem. 26 November is a blessed day, as it’s the day God chose to enlighten Indians in no unscertain terms, of their vulnerability to terrorists attack. Here in England, I’ve had the delight to watch a lovely Sun appear on the 26th of November each year, except for 2008, when it was very gloomy, albeit, a one off. Thus, Arjun should take heart & go ahead to celebrate his birthday with fond memories & we his Fans with him.

  9. If Amir is a true Indian, he’ll not hesitate to change his religion rather than mincing words to support those hideous MONSTERS who conducted such inferiority trait’s act of cawordice to cast false impression of bad luck on the birthday of a mush loved & cherished superstar. 26/11 is a perfectly good day, cos it’s the day we’ve come to realize the flaws in India’s security system that endangers the lives of Indians and India’s investors and visitors and the urgent need of Indians to unite as Indians despite Religion, Cast, intellect and good looks. True, why did the government leave India’s basic security forces ill equipped all these years? Arjun Rampal’s suggestions is the best way to go. I hope Arjun will take heart and endeavour to celebrate 26/11 fondly in future and I promise him that the whole world would celebrate with him one day. Whatever Arjun have in mind to put in place for the security of Indians and obviously for India’s investors and visitors, he should implement it on 26/11. Best wishes.
