After her win in Big Brother, Shilpa has been raking in money in London, hiring the most expensive publicist in the country. Max Clifford, who specialises in squeezing money for “15 minutes of fame” celebrities by arranging exclusive media interviews is Shilpa’s agent.
While her equity in India is known, the addition to her brand value has come mainly from abroad, where her celebrity status will end as soon as it began — and she must cash in what she can in that period.
But while she does that, all the other producers who had no idea that Simple Shilpa would become an international princess overnight, must rue the fact that they did predict her victory.
