After Yuvvraaj flop, is it the end of the road for Salman Khan and Subhash Ghai?
Who would have thought it, a Subhash Ghai film being pulled from theatres after only one week of release.
That is exactly what has been happening to multi-starrer big budget flick Yuvvraaj. It has already been panned by critics and now theatre owners just can’t afford to keep it running. Industry trade sources say, "The film opened to 30-40% in all the major multiplexes on Friday but the collections actually dropped down further as Sunday came. Then on Monday it went lower to a poor 20-25%. Later, as the week progressed one saw just 30-40 people patronizing its show in most of the multiplexes. At some places even in big cities, the response dwindled so low that the multiplexes were left with no option but cancel some of Yuvvraaj’s shows."

Salman khan’s career died along time back in 1999. Ever since then he has been making stupid movies this whole decade, only exception is probably tere naam. He should think about retiring, or take his career more seriously.
Oh come on give me a break, Salman has survived great turmoils in his life and has bounced back with a bang.its just a bad phase 2009 will prove that .Come what may there is no real replacement for him so he will be here for a good 5 yrs or so.

watch heroes and see his performce. so what if the showman is crazy and forget half of the story what can salman do??? he acts what he got. Salman needs great drectors like he used to had in 1990s. BTW is not only salman who giving flops why you guys don’t other actors?? remember akki had 44 flops once. so give the guy break to get his correct roles right!

The man was never able to act, he just murms something, shows his body and thats the film. This worked earlier, but now we have men with great bodies who does great acting, like Aamir, SRK, Hritik, Akki, Saif.

This is just bad time / phase. He will be back. Probably with better choice of movies this time. He did some stupid movies:
Marigold, Saawan (which is not his at all but was promoted on his name), , Saawariya (which is not his at all), Heroes (great movie, but not his he just had a cameo but was promoted on his name, could have avoided), God Tussi Great Ho (Great story bad execution).
Yuvvraaj was an excellent movie.

usman sun partner was a blockbuster last year july 20thn it realeased and after that he has given only 2 floops which were properly his movies..gtgh and yuvvraaj..saawariya he had a special apprence same goes for heroes n if u count sp.appreances even shahruks bhoothnath was a disaster
i dont think salman has to retire. he choses films for doing a favour for others. like he did with yuvraaj. no one wanted to act in subhash ghai film after he gave 3 flops. but sk did. this is his mistake. he should stop doing favours for others. and select only two good and menaing films a year. he has too many nonsense films.
