It is reported that Mrs. Bachchan limped through the entire schedule of Goldie Behl’s Drona with a severly broken ankle.
According to better half, Amitabh Bachchan, “She had a fall in Bikaner, where she fractured her ankle. But she ignored it. She kept shooting right through the injury. Much after the schedule, when the pain became unbearable, we got an X-ray done. That’s when we detected a fracture in her ankle.”
But Jaya seems to be unperturbed by the whole incident as she says, “Yes, the ankle is fractured but so what? Life goes on. I go on”.
