US Box Office: Yuvvraaj fails to make an impression
Salman Khan starrer Yuvvraaj failed to create any news at the USA Box Office in its first weekend of release.
Director Subhash Ghai would have been hoping for much better collections than the $264,362 it did manage. That was an average per screen of $3,433; the film has been showing on 77 screens nationwide. Yuvvraaj entered the charts at a miserable number 22.
Last week’s release Dostana is still on impressive takings. Showing on 4 screens less than Yuvvraaj, Dostana’s weekend collections were $222,712. Its total collections in America are nearing the million dollar mark, $987,966. Dostana dropped 8 places from number 16 to 24.
