Suneel Darshan’s films are known for their melodious numbers which usually cover up for the rest of the things. This time Suneel has gambled and roped in Himesh to compose music for his upcoming film “Shakalaka Boom Boom”, leaving his all time favourite Nadeem-Shravan. The soundtrack is disappointing with the ‘already heard’ kind of compositions. There is absolutely nothing for music lovers except for the title track ‘Shakalaka Boom Boom’, which is gradually rising on the chartbusters. Himesh’s music sounds repeated and stale this time.

This song is a complete treat to one’s ears. There is new voice introduced in this song, that of Akruti Kakkar. Though she possesses a sweet vocal chord, her part slows down the pace of the track.
The remix version is equally good and funky.
