With his new found success after Lage Raho Munnabhai, Arshad Warsi is now looking forward to new characters. The actor has been signed for Rohit Shetty’s forthcoming venture ‘Sunday’ where he plays the role of a taxi driver.
The film also stars Ajay Devgan in the role of a policeman. Irfan Khan plays a struggler trying to gain a foothold in Bollywood while Ayesha Takia plays a dubbing artiste who is Devgan’s love interest in the film.
“The story of the film happens on a Sunday, hence the name. It is a thriller interspersed with a lot of humour,” reveals director Rohit Shetty.
