After Abhishek and John in Dostana, Konkona will bat for the other side
Hot on the heels of Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham play-acting as homosexuals in Dostana, fellow Indian actress Konkona Sen Sharma is rumoured to be doing something similar in her next flick.
In Rohan Sippy’s film, The President is Coming, fans of Konkona will witness the girl in the role of a homosexual. A source from the unit reveals, “Konkana’s character, Maya Roy, is a lesbian. She is very excited about her role in this film.”
Continues the source, “It was meant to surprise the audience. But the focus of the film is not Konkona’s sexuality, it is a humorous film about six ambitious Indians who will stop at nothing to win a handshake with President Bush. It is a mockumentary!”
When Konkona was asked about this, she said, “It won’t be fair to reveal anything so soon, but after Dostana, do you think only boys should have all the fun?”
