I will not play mother to Ajay Devgan, Raveena refuses big role
Former 90’s hot babe Raveena Tandon has refused to play the role of Ajay Devgan’s mother in a comeback film that was offered to her.
Noted filmmaker Prakash Jha offered to help out the ravishing Queen in her return to Bollywood, but Ravs refused the film once she read the script. “You can’t blame me for saying no to playing mother to an actor with whom I co-starred in so many films. But I had a bigger reason for my refusal. The film required me to leave Mumbai for two months at a stretch. Both my children are too young to be left behind for such a long time, especially since they don’t even go to school yet,” Raveena told IANS.
In the film, Raveena was to portray the role of a powerful politician, similar on the lines of Late Indira Gandhi. Prakash Jha already has Ajay Devgan and Ranbir Kapoor lined up to play brothers.
Your thoughts on this… has Raveena taken the right decision here… is her reason for refusal justified… or should she be now thinking about playing mother-roles… what would you do if you were in her shoes… would you give a little for a major role… or would you not play mother to someone who you have romanced in the past… use the comments section below to reply.
