Aftab Shivdasani and Celina Jaitly might have some answers, since the actress ended up with ‘bleeding lips’ after an intense lip-lock with the actor during the shoot of Vikram Bhatt’s Red.
Apparently, a late night lip-lock scene was being filmed on Aftab and the actress; after a few intense retakes the shot was still unsatisfactory, but suddenly Celina realised she had a cut on her lips. he required medical assistance (for a smooch?!), so shooting had to be stopped and the kiss was re-shot the following day.
Producer Sunil Chainani confirms the ‘bleeding lips’ episode, saying, “We had to stop as it got a bit out of hand. It was shot at a very late hour, so I guess it became difficult to handle emotionally (eh?).”
