Salman Khan gets snubbed, fans cheer for John Abraham instead
After having a tiff during a Rockstars concert some time ago, actors Salman Khan and John Abraham came face to face…
Says a source, “Both Salman and John somehow got invited to a food award event earlier this week. Neither knew of the other’s invitation. The organisers knew of the tiff between the two and decided to snub out John in favour of Salman. But, the public did the opposite… snubbing Salman and cheering John.”
Another source present at the event says, “Salman was asked to attend the event by Subhash Ghai, the director of Yuvvraaj. Salman was to hand out trophies to the contestants along with other film personalities like Ajay Devgan, Kajol and Kareena Kapoor. Salman was the first person to reach the venue, followed by Ajay, Kajol and Kareena. They were all seated on a big table with Ghai."
"John doesn’t like public scenes and he kept to himself. He didn’t even look in the direction of Sallu’s table, where all the actors were chatting and laughing. Then the announcer called Sallu, Ajay, Kajol and Kareena on stage to inaugurate the event. John was never meant to go on the stage. He was attending the event as a guest, but the members of the audience who spotted him, started to holler his name and the organisers had no other option but to call him on stage too. Once on stage, John and Salman looked through each other. After giving awards, John stayed back at the event while Salman made a quick exit," adds the source.
A spokesperson from Salman Khan’s camp has commented on the situation, saying, “John and Salman were sitting very far from each other and as Salman was there only for a few minutes he couldn’t have found the time to exchange pleasantries with many present at the event."
John also tried to play down the whole furore, saying, “The event organisers didn’t give me the cold shoulder. I was specifically called by them to hand an award and I was even given a particular time to be there, which was way after the show had already started. I think if you keep doing good work it has to pay off, right? I am very glad the audiences at the show were really nice to me and cheered me. It makes me really happy to know that people really appreciate good things."

If i would have been at the event,i would have applauded for both john and salman.I dont have any qualms against them so why should i be partial.If john and salman have any problems with each other,its among them.I am a movie watcher and i like both the actors very much,so why should i judge them on their personal lives.Though at times i too am not able to igonore actors action and behaviour off screen,but that doesnt stop me from seeing their movies.

agreed kk i dont seem to understand why they are all trying to put salman in a bad light for me its actually making me like him more women normally tend to like the under dog and he is the underdog now.
^ Shetty, there is no smoke without fire! Salman is one messed up guy and the sooner his fans realise this sooner will they stop saying ’stop targetting him’ ‘do not make him look bad’ etc! Isnt he the one always taking a dig at others? So when its not SRK, its John or Vivek! Does he ever shut up? NO! Then why should the media? Salman provides them a reason to write. Its not like the journos wake up every morning deciding when and how to badmouth Salman next! If audiences are snubbing Salman, good! This is what this immature 40 + man deserves.He was always only an average actor, now his offscreen antics are becomeing unbearable.

Everyone s jealious about Salman. All credit goes to him for good body trend in bollywood. John showed little too much in dostana. I didnot like movie also. some scene are little too much.:(. Sexuality cannnot be a subject of fun it is a serious subject. )
