Music Critic: Goher Iqbal Punn
Producer: One More Thought Entertainment Pvt Ltd.
Director: Ajay Chandok
Cast: Nikhil Trivedi, Chunky Pander, Rajpal Yadev, Shruti Seth and Suresh Menon
Music: Sajid Wajid
Lyrics: Jalees Sherwani and Shabbir Ahmad
The composers’ duo Sajid-Wajid comes up with new offering,’Khall Bali’. The duo has scored many hit songs for Salman Khan. But would they help their feet tapping on this musical extravaganza? Certainly not…..! Because this album is what carries a poor dish to offer to the music buffs.
1): Khall Bali (Wajid and Neeraj Sridhar)
The title track opens the soundtrack that is sung by Wajid of Sajid-Wajid and Neeraj. Both try their very best to spoil your pleasures. The lyrics do the same thing and the rest is done in the same manner by the musicians.
Rating: 1/10
2): Zhala Menu Zhala (Wajid)
The number comes up in Maharashtrian style and is laced with the modern music and lyrics which are penned in Hindi, Marathi and English. Wajid again disappoints you in full with the vocals. Only the music and the lyrics hold values in this song.
Rating: 3.5/10
3): Bhuri Bhuri (Neeraj Sridhar and Sunidhi Chauhan)
Neeraj and Sunidhi teams up to deliver a duet and both loot the hearts with their heart-arresting vocals. The rap portion appears great and soothing. The lyrics are good and so is the music.
Rating: 7/10
4): Yesh Ishq Ishq Hai (Sukhwinder Singh, Shadab Sabri and AD Boyz)
The trio of Sukhwinder Singh, Shadab Sabri and AD Boyz sing ‘Yeh Ishq Ishq Hai’. All the vocalists attract the most. The lyrics register impact. The composition gels well with the flow of the song.
Rating: 7/10
5): Zari Ki Kurtiyan (Khadija Haider and Udit Narayan)
The maestro of singing Udit Narayan and Khadia Haider croon this track with aplomb. But they are letdown by the mundane lyrics and the music.
Rating: 2/10
6): Khall Bali – Remix
The remix is arranged by fbm.com but is has no values to be with.
Rating: 1/10
7): Bhuri Bhuri – Remix
Fbm.com arranges the remix of Bhuri Bhuri also but again the impact is poor.
Rating: 1/10
Conclusion:
The album must be avoided since it has nothing attractive for the listeners except two songs.
Overall Rating: 2.5/10
