Shah Rukh to create Indian TV magic with legendary serial remake

The Indian television strike might be in full flow but that isn’t stopping King of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan from continuing to develop projects for the small screen.

The latest is that Shah Rukh is to remake the legendary TV soap Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi for a whole new audience. The original was the first daily serial on Indian TV and starred Shafi Inamdar and Rakesh Bedi amongst others.

Shah Rukh himself will personally select the actors for the serial which he hopes to start shooting within 3 months.
