Mithun Chakraborthy, slammed by critics for his B grade movies in the early 90s, is now making all the right moves.

After his comeback with Elaan, he had signed up some decent films – Chingaari being one of them.

Now, Mithun has been snagged by Mani Ratnam for Guru, which stars Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan.

The two were to work in a Tamil film Anandam some six years back but this time Mithun not only made himself available but also slashed his price.

So much for his dear “Mani sir.”
