Lately Ram Gopal Verma films have excelled to triumph with dark subjects that were catalyzed with daunting display of horrendous background musical feel. This musical outburst tormented viewer’s senses with terror and created a new spectrum of music. RGV benchmarked the intimidating feel of trepidation making viewers on their edge of seats with loud and theatrical background score. NISHABD stirs your senses and creates ripples of surprises as lead actors gets into singing ardor with modulating and tantalizing vocal modes.
NISHABD was pronounced to be song-less during its launch but proved to be a delight and surprise to ears with two pulsating soundtracks. The album is one of the shortest possible musical presentations in Bollywood with just two original soundtracks. RGV along with leading Bollywood music company T-Series accommodates with ten bonus soundtracks from Big B’s recent movies. Its prospects are shouldered on the spirited Big B “fan following” and if things work appreciably on screen then this might be surprise hit.
Rozana (Singer: Amitabh Bachchan)
Ratings: 5.5/10
“Rozana” is the biggest musical surprise of the year as the legendary actor makes silent and romantic moves through his sonorous vocal skills. Believe it or not it will sweep you off your floors as the titillating musical beats get entangled with sensuously poised lyrics. Vishal Bharadwaj makes another impressive move after the super success of ‘Omkaara’ in this passionately divine number. It’s a song about fatal attraction showing its spark and flame through vociferously engrossing vocal strength of Amitabh Bachchan.

Take Lite (Singer: Jiah Khan)
Ratings: 7/10
‘Take Lite’ comes as a bigger surprise than “Rozana” where nubile nymphet Jiah Khan impresses to hilt with sensuous pop singing attire with fine support of rollicking Arabic and western music fusion. Amar Mohile’s lyrics may not sound poetic but they come with strong blend of peppy and snazzy styled lyrical work. Jiah oozes oomph through her sensuous whimpers and cries that form prelude to the soundtrack. The song “Take Lite” will make Jiah Khan a notable figure in musical fraternity.

ALBUM RATING: 5.5/10

Am totally confused.. Rozaana is one of the best songs to come out of bollywood and it gets a 5.5/10…. somehow that does not make sense…can somebody please explain the logic behind it? and the album on a whole gets 5.5/10…all of 2 songs that are pretty much brilliant and such low ratings….confuses the mind…i would like to know how this so called music critic came up with such fantastic ratings?
hey sumaya, it is understood from the critic’s review that there are just 2 original tracks in the whole album and the remaining are bonus tracks from previously released movies. hence, i think the rating of 5.5/10 is just fine for the album as who would want to buy a album which has no tracks no boast about. hence, i believe 5.5 on 10 is just fine.about rozanna, i think amitabh must be happy getting a 5.5 coz d track is made gud to hear. and only a out of the world number gets a 8 or above. just check out the other song ‘lite..’ & then ul understand which one stands better out of the two. and on a larger picture i think 7 is definitely gud and 5.5 is also justified.well..apart from this.. i think the ratings are subjective from person to person. i actually liked this critics other articles too.
