Tarantella Pictures Pvt ltd, one of Asia’s biggest software producers, ventured into animation with the globe’s first 3D film on Lord Ganesha. Directed by Sharad Sharan the film on the life of the elephant-headed Hindu God with universal appeal. The film will be the first of its kind in the world on Ganesha and will trace the life of the elephant-headed deity with interesting albeit unknown facets.
The production values are world class with 60 per cent of the film will be made on phoenix laser based 52 camera motion capture facility and 40 % will be key framed animated. The key framed animation will be framed out to Germany UK, Australia, Philippines, Singapore and India. The reputed international award-winning technicians will be working on Ganesha, who have been associated with Harry Potter, Vertical Limits, King Kong etc. The entire sound will be done in Japan.
The Sound Effects will be done on almost 1000 to 2000 tracks, in Japan, by top award winning sound professionals over there. Tak Ogawa will design the sound n special sound effects of “Om Ganesha”. Films and games like Metal Gear, Xenosaga Episode 2, Parasite Eve etc are on his credits.
Ads Sharad Sharan, “the overall film sound engineering n mixing will be handled by famous award winner Masayoshi Okawa , known for his films like Brother, Parasite eve and Monoke – hime. Another well known Japanese music composer, Keisuke Shinohara will compose the music of “Om Ganesha”. He has done music for an animated feature film titled “Arashi No Yoruni” and “Daichi No Iro” and composed loads of work for tele-series and theatre.” Here is looking forward to more on Om Ganesha .
