By the time you read this Shilpa will be back in the UK. She left on Monday, looking forward to the lucrative deals waiting for her. It wasn’t really a happy homecoming for the Bollywood hottie because her return home wasn’t planned that way.

“It was a last minute thing”, Shilpa insisted. “Dad was not well, he was alone at home, my sister Shamita was shooting in Hyderabad, and I had a friend who was flying down from London. So, mom and I decided if there was a place on the flight, we would hop on, and that’s what we did. Dad didn’t even know we were coming! I didn’t want a big media turnover at the airport. But by the time we landed and reached Siddhivinayak everybody knew!”
