Katrina Kaif is keeping a diary on John Abraham and Neil Nitin Mukesh
Yash Raj Films are trying something different for the promotion of their 2009 release New York, directed by Kabeer Khan.
According to an insider on the sets of the film, New York’s lead actress Katrina Kaif has been asked to keep a diary of all events happening on the sets of this film in which she stars alongside hunks John Abraham and Neil Nitin Mukesh. Says the source, “Katrina has been making entries in this diary for the last three months — since she began shooting for New York. It’s like her personal diary with inputs from John and Neil. It will cover all their experiences peppered with interesting anecdotes while shooting for the film in New York and Philadelphia. Katrina is very excited about it as she’s never kept a diary before and this is a novel way of sharing her experiences, on and off screen, while filming.”
Continues the source, “It’s going to be a picture diary and will be revealed to everyone during the film’s release. Like all things associated with Yash Raj, even this is very hush-hush. Neil and John have taken lots of candid, fun, and interesting pictures. John is quite camera-savvy and his pictures have shaped up well while Neil is still learning. Some contents of the diary will be published in a leading newspaper just a month before New York’s release.”
When Katrina was asked about this, she refused to reveal any details about it, saying, “It’s too early to reveal any details about the diary right now.”
