Renowned singer Jagjit Singh has been apparently unwell since the past few days. The singer, in fact, even spent his birthday on February 8 at home with his fans and friends sending their gifts across.
Sources reveal that he complained of slurring on Saturday morning, followed by chest pain in the evening.
Medical examination revealed that he had suffered a mild heart attack. The singer is scheduled to go in for a bypass operation on Monday added the source.
