Actor Celina Jaitley, who boasts of a collection of around 300 saris, has now become the brand ambassador for a sari range. Interestingly, the actor is set to launch her own clothesline, called Celina’s Jashn soon. “I have always been fascinated by saris,” quips Celina, who is known never to repeat them.
The range will also include an assortment of women’s wear. She adds, “I aspire to be a complete woman by the time I turn 31 because there’s more to life than just acting.”
Celina is upset when she is told that that she looks too sexy a widow in the film ‘Red’. The actor, who plays Anahita, who has lost her husband early in life in this Vikram Bhatt directorial says, “I feel it is demeaning when people feel that a widow shouldn’t look sexy! Why cannot a widow look sensual without wearing provocative clothes?” she asks. Celina takes it as a compliment when people hail her as a sex symbol.
“Sex is integral to us, whether we like it or not. If I can talk about AIDS and condoms, why should I hesitate to talk about sex?”
