Shilpa Shetty offered prayers at the Siddhivinayak temple on her arrival here from London.
“Shilpa believes in Ganeshji. She has been going to the temple every Tuesday for the past eight months,” Dal Bhagwagar, Shilpa’s publicist, told reporters.
Shilpa was accompanied by her parents and well-wishers. “She walks from her Versova home to the temple every Tuesday,” Bhagwagar said.
“She says she has a lot of faith in Ganeshji,” Bhagwagar said when he was asked what Shilpa sought from the elephant god.
Asked if Shilpa, who recently spoke about her single status, had sought a partner in her prayers, Bhagwagar said, “She went to the temple to offer prayers. She wanted to thank the lord for whatever she has received.”
