The Uttar Pradesh state government has given tax exemption to yet another film of the Bachchans. This time its junior Bachchan’s turn to get favors from the Mulayam Singh-led government. The film is tax-free for the next three months in Uttar Pradesh.
The decision was made at the State cabinet’s meeting in Lucknow. The Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan starrer has the future couple of the Bachchans; hence, the tax-exemption was obvious with Big B’s close friend and associates like Amar Singh in the Mulayam government.
Earlier, the UP government had given tax exemption to many Amitabh and Abhishek starrers. Recently, Ravi Chopra’s Big B starrer Baabul had also got tax exemption for similar reasons.
