Shilpa is definitely the flavour of the season for filmmakers. According to reports, Jagmohan Mundhra has also jumped onto the bandwagon and is planning a film with Shilpa in the lead, which will most probably be directed by Punkaj Parasher.
And Dale Bhagwagar, Shilpa’s publicist, has confirmed that there’s fire to this smoke. “Yes, they have offered a film to Shilpa. But since she is in London now, she will take a call on it only after she’s back.” Surprisingly, both Punkaj and Mundhra have denied any such development.
In fact, while Mundra denied planning a film with Punkaj, Parasher said he was, “We are planning something together, but Shilpa is not in the scheme of things.”
If Mundhra and Parasher are indeed interested in making the film, why are they denying it? Are they waiting to make the announcement only after Shilpa agrees to it? In the meanwhile, Bhagwagar is making no bones about the plentiful offers pouring in for Shilpa.
“Apart from filmmakers from UK and USA, she has got an offer to be a part of a documentary in Singapore. Even a film-maker from Spain has approached us,” said Bhagwagar.
