This Friday saw the release of the much-awaited Madhur Bhandarkar film ‘Traffic Signal’. Despite the usual slow start of any Bhandarkar film, ‘Traffic Signal’ picked up at a latter stage. The film had a slow start all over like other Bhandarkar films. The film is doing reasonable business at all the major circuits.
Traffic Signal opened with 25-35% this Friday and then the collections gained momentum in the evening slot. The film is showing signs of improvement in collections as the film won’t be facing any stiff competition from any other films before 16th of this month. There are no releases before that day.
Ample amount of the film’s prints have been provided at the theatres to screen the films across all the major centres and hence, draw in maximum revenue before the release of any other major film.
